Riley McAvoy

Riley McAvoy is a filmmaker and photographer based in Washington, D.C. An award-winning photojournalist, her work has taken her around the world from Alaska and the Arctic to locations across the United States and Europe, documenting environmental and humanitarian stories.

With a background in both production and photography, she brings a strong editorial eye to visual storytelling, with a growing focus on photo editing and curation. She previously worked as an Associate Story Producer on National Geographic’s The Incredible Dr. Pol and as a producer on Netflix’s Love Is Blind. She has also contributed to projects for Kenai Fjords National Park, Bottega, Consumers Energy, and Max.
